I covered the three day Mountain Oasis Electronic Music Festival for the Asheville Citizen-Times this weekend! I can't even put my experience into words! 

I was fortunate enough to attend the 2013 Mountain Workshops in Owensboro, KY this year as a multimedia student. I learned a ton, made many new friends. It was a brilliant week of learning, connecting, and growing. A truly invaluable experience that I will carry many , many years. I cannot wait to attend as a still photo student next year!

The piece that I produced was on a retired Army Master Sgt. named James Goodall. He was a man of pride and patriotism. Over the course of three days, he let me into his life and needless to say, we became great friends.
